2025-2026 Tuition & Fees

 

Our 2025-2026 dance season begins Wednesday September 3, 2025

Intro to Dance - Senior level classes: 36 week session runs through Saturday June 6, 2026

Dance 'N Play®: 37 week session runs through Saturday June 13, 2026

Senior Ballet Variations: 30 week session runs through April 16, 2025

 

​Registration for the 2025-2026 dance season opens on March 15, 2025. We offer a Paid In Full tuition discount of 7% for families dancing less than 4 hours per week. This payment is due no later than May 31, 2025 and must be paid by ACH or check.

 

Our 2025-2026 dance season begins on September 3, 2025 and runs through June 6, 2026 (Intro-Senior), and Dance ‘N Play® parties are held the following week. Tuition charges begin on June 1, 2025 or upon enrollment if you register after June 1, 2025.

Each dance class meets once per week. The more hours per week that a student (family) dances, the greater the discount.

1 hour - $24.00

1.5 hours - $36.00

2+ hours - 5% discount

4+ hours - 8% discount

6+ hours - 10% discount

9+ hours - 14% discount

15+ hours - 16% discount

Annual tuition is calculated based on the number of weeks a student is enrolled in class(es). This amount is divided into equal monthly payments; the first payment is due June 1 or upon enrollment, payments continue on the 1st of each month, and the final payment is due on May 1, 2026. (Example: If you register on or before June 1, 2025, payments are calculated over 12 months; if you register in July, payments are calculated over 11 months; in August payments are calculated over 10 months and so on.) We offer ongoing enrollment; your tuition will be calculated based on the number of weeks you are enrolled in class(es) if you join or add a class after the start date.​​​​

All families must register online at www.danceitup.com/register. Our methods of payment are credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover) or Automated Clearing House (ACH) through your bank. To be enrolled in a class, we must have either your credit card or ACH information. Upon registration you will be charged a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee per dancer. Your credit card (or ACH info) will be saved in our secure system and your tuition, costume & any additional fees will be charged to it on the first of each month (through May 2026). Please inform us of any changes to your payment information to avoid late charges.

Fees:

Registration (non-refundable) $50.00 per student

Class sizes are limited; the registration fee reserves your child's place in the class and it includes a Dance It Up! registration t-shirt to be distributed during the first couple weeks of class.

Costume fees (non-refundable after 11/1/2025)

Costume fees for dancers in multiple classes will be spread out over several months with the final payment scheduled for no later than 11/1/2025. $115.00 per Dance ‘N Play® class or $115.00 for each class performing in the spring dance recital. All costume payments are due by 11/1/2025. The fee increases to $130.00 for registrations after 12/1/2025.

Spring Dance Recital Production Fee (Intro+)

$70.00 for the first dancer (+$20.00 each additional dancer). This fee includes dress rehearsal, performance day activities, a recital themed t-shirt(s) and a link to download a professional recording of the recital. This fee will be charged to your account on 1/21/2026.

Fees for optional add-on programs:

Variations costume rental fee $50.00 (Our World is Dancing performance)

 

Dance Jam costume rental fee $100.00 (multiple community events in addition to Our World is Dancing and the Spring Dance Recital)

Dance Jam Nutcracker fee $250.00 if not auditioning for additional Nutcracker roles due on September 1, 2025

 

Not Just Nutcracker Audition & Participation Fee: Every dancer who auditions, will be cast in our "Not Just Nutcracker" performance. Please visit our Nutcracker page for more information about this program.
$525.00 ($125.00 deposit due upon registration, balance due on Nutcracker audition day, June 11). $475.00 for each additional family member. This fee includes, all auditions, 13 weeks of rehearsals and costuming for each role in which a dancer is cast, dress rehearsals, and performance day activities. Each cast member will also receive Nutcracker t-shirt, opportunity for their family to submit a personal message in the show program at no additional cost and a link to download a professional recording of the performance. *Dancers who enroll in the Nutcracker after the audition date pay a $40.00 late enrollment fee. 

 

Nutcracker Performance Ticket Purchase Requirement: Every family with a Nutcracker performer is required to purchase 6 tickets to the show. New this year! The order in which students are registered for the Nutcracker program determines the order in which their family's seats will be assigned for the performance. (In other words, auditorium seating will be assigned in the order in which students register for the Nutcracker program.) The 6 tickets will be charged to your card on file on November 1. If a family would like more than 6 seats, tickets will go on sale on November 1. Any additional tickets purchased by November 15 will be seated with your original group of 6. Nutcracker registration opens on April 1, 2025. We encourage early enrollment, because it not only ensures your place in the seat reservation queue, it helps us prepare for the auditions, costume resourcing and rehearsal scheduling.

Class Make-up / Refund Policy

Make-ups are available for classes missed due to illness, inclement weather, holidays. Arrangements for make-up classes must be made in advance by calling the office to reserve a space in an alternate class. Failure to call in advance may result in our inability to accommodate your request. If your dancer misses two consecutive classes after recital choreography instruction has begun, they may be required to take a 30 minute private make-up lesson at the discretion of the instructor. Deadline for all make-up classes is April 1, 2026. We do not count the February or April school vacation weeks as part of the dance season, therefore no make-ups are needed. We follow the Grafton Public School calendar.

 

There are no refunds for registration fees, classes, workshops, parties, performance tickets or Sugarplums merchandise. Costumes fees will not be refunded after November 1st. In the event of a withdrawal, students may opt to complete the number of classes paid (within the current season). There are no refunds, account credits, or transfer of payments to another class or family member for unused classes. Dance It Up! must be notified via email when a student adds or withdraws from classes.

Tuition payment penalty fee: 10 days past due fee $25.00

Referral Program

We love referrals! If you have a student enrolled and you refer a new dance family to us, both accounts will receive a $25.00 tuition credit when the new student registers.
