Dress Code
Regulation dancewear and shoes must be worn for all classes. Each dance division has a specific leotard, tights and footwear (see below). Properly fitted dance shoes are extremely important to the dancer. Children must be in correct dress code in order to enter class.

Class Make-up / Refund Policy
No refunds for classes. Arrangements must be made by calling the office to reserve your space in an alternate class to make-up for classes missed due to illness, inclement weather, or holidays except school vacation weeks. If you fail to call in advance we may be unable to accommodate you. Students may opt to make-up missed classes or complete the number of classes paid in the event of withdrawal. This policy is strictly enforced due to our limitation of class size.

Weather Cancellations
Classes that are cancelled due to snow or icy conditions may be made up by attending the same level class that is held on a different day/time during the week. Please ensure that you call us in advance to schedule the make up so that we may manage attendance and notify the instructor.

For higher-level classes, from Dance Prep through Senior, that are held only once per week, students may attend a similar type/level class as their make up. For example, Dance Prep Ballet and Sr. Prep Ballet, may be made up by attending Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Technique on Tuesday.

Please be reminded that you may call Dance It Up! at (508) 839-1648 by 7:30 a.m. on any day when the weather may be a factor, to hear whether classes are cancelled or delayed. If there is no message to the contrary, then classes will be held at their regularly-scheduled times. Also, we are now posting weather cancellations on our website, www.danceitup.com.
